Multi-Level Parking Garage

Los Angeles, CA

Our Customer

1601 Vine is an eight-story creative office space located on the renowned Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California. Sitting atop a palatial lobby and 2,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, the building is more than 115,000 square feet of office space and includes concrete lid ceilings, exposed mechanical ducting and shallow bay depths for substantial window access. The full-height perimeter glass windows offer sweeping views of Hollywood.

The Situation

The parking operator of 1601 Vine needed an energy-efficient lighting solution for the five-level, 174-space subterranean parking garage. Primary considerations included low maintenance costs, long usage life and superior, glare-free light that provided ample security.

The Solution

FSC Lighting’s L8500 Series Strip and L6000 Series Radial Wraps were installed throughout the parking structure to provide generous light on every floor. With a clean, modern construction that delivers premium performance and durability, both the L8500 and L6000 series are ideal for parking structures. For maximum security, the L8500 series were outfitted with wire guards. By adopting the LED solution over the fluorescent option, the structure will use 50% less energy – a considerable cost saving. In addition, the long life of the L-Bar system will contribute to significant reduction in maintenance costs by virtually eliminating the colossal expense of re-lamping.
